On October 1st, CIE began operating the service between Eden Quay and Grange Road Cross. It had been acquired the service from the GNR and CIE assigned the number "29A" to the service. On March 7th 1988, a revised Monday to Friday timetable came into operation. On April 23rd 1990, a minor timetable came into operation. On December 11th 1994, a revised Sunday timetable came into operation. On March 20th 1995, a revised Monday to Friday timetable came into operation. On April 25th 2004, a revised timetable came into operation, also the City Centre terminus moved from Eden Quay to Lower Abbey Street. On February 25th 2007, a revised Saturday and Sunday timetable came into operation. The last day of operation was June 26th 2021.
