On January 20th 2019, operation of the 17 transferred from Dublin Bus to Go-Ahead Ireland. Go-Ahead assigned the number "17C" to services which would not operate via Belfield UCD enroute between Rialto and Blackrock Station. These services operated on Sundays only. The last day of operation was June 15th 2019.
