The NTA awarded the contract for the new service 139 between Naas and Blanchardstown IT to J.J. Kavanagh and Sons. The new service began operations on March 12th 2018. From September 2023, the terminus name of Blanchardstown IT was renamed to TU Dublin Blanchardstown. An enhanced timetable came into operation from April 1st 2024.
