Dublin Bus introduced the City Imp route 123 on February 28th 1994. It ran from Marino to Drimnagh Road via Ballybough, Summerhill, O'Connell Street, Christchurch, James's Street, St.James's Hospital, Suir Road and Galtymore Road. It replaced the 24 which last operated the day before.
